Yesterday, I went to Stars On Ice with [livejournal.com profile] wasabi_girl! And to make it easy on everyone, I made up videos to summarize our experience.

Some things I didn't cover in the videos:
  • Yes, I know, that white speck annoys me too. My digital camera has a broken pixel. Boooo!

  • There's a definite lack of Tessa/Scott footage unfortunately, and this is because whenever they skated I sort of just wanted to feast on their performance with my own eyes and cling to [livejournal.com profile] wasabi_girl1 instead of fiddling with a piece of technology.

  • Actually, there's a general lack of everything, media-wise, because my camera no longer meets my ridiculously high standards. Blah.

  • Pictures of our sign: the front and the back!

  • We got distracted and didn't recruit the girls sitting in front of us. LOL, they were such massive Tessa/Scott fans. And Scott fangirls in particular, hahaha.

  • There was some guy sitting behind us talking about how touring in Japan was tough, and how all his Facebook friends were people from the National Ballet, which made me go "WTF who is this guy? Another figure skater?? Would I know him?!" I turned around and didn't recognize who he was though.

  • OKAY, that first group dance before the intermission was THE SHIT. Not only was the music they used FANTASTICO, but I'M SORRY I could not take my eyes off Tessa because she was all fierce and pretty and omg so good.

  • At the very end of their routine, Bryce got his sweater caught in Jessica's big-ass necklace and it took them a bit of time to get untangled for their bows. Jessica totally facepalmed right there on the ice, hee.

  • After the cast did their very final bow (the one with the kicks), Scott got all giddy and started jumping up and down on the ice, one arm around Tessa and the other around Salé I think. It was TOO CUTE.

  • Kurt Browning did a whole routine in hockey skates! WAT!

  • After the show, when Browning was explaining that certain routines would be repeated for TV, he said something like "So someone is backstage naked, getting changed into the right outfit" and some guy behind us yelled out "TESSA!" which made me and [livejournal.com profile] wasabi_girl1 go O_O to the max.

  • In the add-on segment with Joannie, Browning, Sawyer, and Buttle, it was mainly the boys interacting (poor Joannie didn't even get a mic!), and omfg they were so slashy, no lie. You can just see how much they all get along and enjoy working with each other.

  • [livejournal.com profile] wasabi_girl and I have decided that since there was no show the next day and because Pelltier was so intent on getting out of there for a drink, the cast went to the London Tap House and had the top floor patio all to themselves and the youngins got tipsy enough to start dancing and there was fun/sexy/awkward times all around because DUDE, Jessica and Bryce there too? BAD JUJU. ;P

  • Pictures (what little I have) have been added to my Flickr account as well. :)

ETA: Ani posted her own thoughts here! :)

I DIDN'T KNOW WHERE TO COMMENT, BUT OMFG.

/flails for you.

I totally get what you mean, it's so damn hard to concentrate on filming when you desperately want to stare with your own retinas. :( My camera is complete shit as well... Completely random question, but did Shawn rip off his shirt in both of his programs like he did in Montreal? LOL. I LOVED THAT GROUP PROGRAM. And holy shit, Tessa was SO fierce! /girlcrush.

LOL@YOURSIGN. A desperate part of me wants them to visit the comm, but then I think of all the rpf, crazy ass shipping comments, SPYCAMERAS&WELLPLACEDTREES?! and then I have second thoughts. :P

Shawn took off his outer shirt in the first routine and ripped off his sleeves in the second, hahaha.

DUDE, I am watching vids on Youtube by other people who were at the Hamilton show and that group dance = GUHHHH TESSA. Massive girlcrush yo. I AM SO EMBARRASSED.

To be quite honest, we didn't get much of a chance to bust the sign out. Maybe twice? And if people see our crazy, they're free to back away slowly... more for us then. ;)

CAN I PLEASE BRAG THAT I HAD FLOOR SEATS? WAS SO EXPENSIVE, BUT TOTALLY WORTH MY MONEY.
I was so bummed afterwards though, 'cause I drew T&S something, but they couldn't take it or didn't want to. /weep.

OH MY FUCKING GOD GIRL I AM SO JEALOUS OF YOU RIGHT NOW. GODDAMN YOU WERE CLOSE TO THE ACTION. Must have been sooooooooo amazing!!

I adore your Act 1 finale vid... SO MUCH TESSA = A++! I think that was my favourite part of the show (excluding Mahler of course) so I might just fav it so I remember forever how happy I felt watching that performance. :)

Your drawing is fantastic! Love! But yeah, seems like the skaters were generally under orders not to take anything from the audience, booooo.

OH MY GOD!!! I LOVE YOUR POST!!! U ARE SOOO FREAKING HILARIOUS!!!

1. I'm sorta worried about the sign u made. What if they find us and join? I DON'T WANT TO BE KNOWN AS A CREEPY STALKER PERSON... EVEN THO I PROBABLY AM ONE. the rpf, and our determination to ship them makes us come across as just A TEENSY BIT CREEPY.

2. You followed them to a bar? Seriously?!!

3. I kept actually LOLing. Seriously. I was laughing and I kept hoping no one would hear me, and come to investigate and find out my stalker-like tendencies.

4. I wish i could go to a SOI!! I don't live in Canada tho... I am Canadian (or half Canadian), but I'm still in school, and live where my parents live... America.

5. You guys are AWESOME!!! You are so AWESOME u forced me to make a list about how AWESOME u are!!!

1. I wasn't too worried... people who are creeped out by our creepiness can easily back away and leave forever, while people who understand the joy of being a fangirl will love us forever. ;)

2. NO NO NO, I made all of that up! LOL!

5. THANK YOU. :D

Oh my god! Love you for posting an awesome review! So glad you had fun!

OMG, I know I was like "OMG KURT WHUT YOU'RE IN HOCKEY SKATES"

(Excess of OMG's sorry :P) BUT OH MY GOD, THE BOYS ROUTINE SO MUCH FUN! I was severely freaking out and then one girl at my show started screaming "I love you Kurt" and he took a poster from her hand and I was like "I NEED TO BE ON THE FLOOR KAY?!"

HOW FIERCE IS TESSA? I was being a total fangirl over her in that routine too! LOL LOL LOL Bryce *facepalm* They're adorable. *cough*hopetheystayedtogetherandawayfromscottandtessa*cough* I know what you mean, I nearly dropped my camera when I was watching them - god they're so beautiful! Your sign is AMAZING k?

Some woman who had floor seats totally accosted Buttle at the last possible moment and got him to sign something for her while security kept a careful eye on her, hahahaha. GOD I WANTED FLOOR SEATS SO HARD. So much awesome interaction! I remember Joannie actually touched a young girl during her second routine. SO LUCKY.

I actually DID drop my camera without realizing it right after Tessa & Scott did Mahler and we were all giving a standing ovation. I was like "HO SHIT WHERE DID MY CAMERA GO?!" and the card crapped out for a second but in the end it was all good. I was TOO EXCITED for my own good hahaha
